The Obaremi family has announced the burial arrangements for their father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Pa Moses Akanji Obaremi.
In a statement issued by the family, a Christian wake-keep will hold on Thursday, 12 February 2026, at the deceased’s residence, Number One, Olorunsogo Street, opposite Government Technical College, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State, by 4:00 p.m.
According to the statement, the burial service and interment will take place at the African Church Cathedral, opposite Gateway Secondary School, Ita Iyalode, Abeokuta, at 10:00 a.m.
The statement further disclosed that the reception for guests will be held at DLK Event Hall, M.K.O. Abiola Way, NNPC Road, Abeokuta.
Pa Moses Akanji Obaremi, who passed away on 28 September 2025 at the age of 97, is survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Among them are Mr Kayode Bolaji-Obaremi, based in the United States of America, and Mr Gbenga Obaremi, an employee of ExxonMobil Nigeria.
