Be Optimistic In The New Year – Fola Akinosun Congratulates Nigerians

Philanthropist and educationist, Dr Fola Akinosun has appealed to Nigerians within and outside the country to be optimistic that the new year will bring forth the desired development both in personal life of citizens and history of the country

Dr Akinosun gave the charge in a new year message to Nigerians, particularly to the good people of Oyo state.

Dr Akinosun who believed that the new year is blessed with untapped opportunities, new and advanced development for the country and Oyo state, urged people to remain resilient and be confident in themselves and Nigeria.

While speaking on the 2023 general election, the Grassroots politician and agbaakin of Irokoland challenged Nigerians to be optimistic of successful polls, free of violence and devoid of ranchor.

Dr Akinosun however commended the efforts of Chairman and entire workforce of INEC for bringing Nigeria to a level of advance electronic electioneering, he also congratulate president Muhammadu Buhari who encouraged such a world class development at his own time. Saying the major problem of Nigeria is corruption and it starts with making of leaders by election fraud.

Akinosun then called on eligible voters to collect the Permanent voters cards, vote wisely and shun all forms of electoral violence before, during and after the elections.

The APC chieftain also admonished INEC to produce the best election in the much anticipated 2023 general election, saying the electoral umpire should be conscious that the outcome of the elections would make or mar the progress of the country.
