Oyo state House of Assembly has reinstated suspended chairman, Ido local government, Mr Sheriff Adeojo, his Olorunsogo counter, Mrs Olukemi Juliana and Iwajowa Chairman, Jelil Oyinloye
The council chairmen were cleared following the report of the committee on local government, presented to the house by the chairman, Mr Akintunde Olajide.
Mr Olajide stated that the impeachment done on Mr Adeojo was not in line with Oyo state local government laws 2001 as amended.
He said the impeachment Lacked merit do not follow due process.
Mr Olajide said Olorunsogo Chairperson, Mrs Olukemi Juliana was guilty of not giving the traditional council their allowances but said the offence was not enough to remove her from office.
He further said that the council Chairperson was not guilty of allegations of Misappropriation of local government funds.
Thereby she was reinstated by the house.
On Iwajowa council matters, Mr Olajide said the petition was withdrawn against the chairman, Mr Oyinloye based on amicable resolution of the matter between the chairman and the petitioners.
