Augustine Eguavoen’s unbeaten start to his latest spell as Super Eagles interim coach continued on Friday evening as Nigeria beat Libya 1-0 in the ongoing African cup of Nations qualifiers.
The only goal of the match played at the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom came in the 87th minute through Substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru after a nice play from Moses Simon.
Nigeria sits top of Group D with 7 points after two wins and a draw.
They will play Libya again next week Tuesday.
