Osun State Governor, senator Ademola Adeleke has described his re- election as a clear endorsement of democracy and the confidence of his people.
Senator Adeleke, who stated this in Ede shortly after securing another term in office said the outcome of the election reflected the decision of the people of Osun state.
He maintained that the result represented the people’s appreciation of the benefits of democracy from his administration, describing his victory as a gesture of gratitude from the electorate.
Senator Adeleke said voters recognized the impact of his government in key areas, including agriculture, infrastructure and education.
He pledged to reciprocate the kind gesture of his people by pursuing a broader economic transformation of the state.
As at the time of filing this report, the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji cannot be reached for comment.
