Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke and the leadership caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for second term.
This was disclosed in a communique issued to Newsmen, after the meeting of the Osun PDP Leadership Caucus meeting held at the Government House, Osogbo.
They vowed to work for the success of the re-election bid of the President, who is the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the Nation.
The Caucus who confirmed the Governor’s plan to move to the APC, revealed that members of the APC in the State opposed it based on entrenched interests.
They also endorsed Governor Adeleke’s second term bid and resolved that he would contest his re-election bid in the People’s Democratic Party,PDP.
The Caucus added that Governor Ademola Adeleke and all members of the PDP in Osun State should remain in the PDP.
Some of the Leaders who signed the communique issued at the end of the meeting including; Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Prince Kola Adewusi, Senator Lere Oyewumi, Mr. Bamidele Salam, Mr. Moruf Adebayo, Mr. Lukman Mudashiru, Mr. Clement Akanni, Prince Adewale Egbedun, Mr. Sunday Bisi, Senator Oluwole Alabi, Mr. Lasun Yusuf, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo, Dr. Muyiwa Oladimeji, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, Mr. Niyi Owolade among others.
