Adeboye, Gowon, Makinde, Others to Grace 70/70/50 Celebration Of Rev. Dr. Moses Aransiola, Wife
Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, will witness a grand spiritual and celebratory gathering from Thursday, June 26 to Sunday, June 29, 2025, as eminent personalities from across Nigeria and beyond converge to honour the General Overseer of Gethsemane Prayer Ministries International, Eleyele, Ibadan, Reverend Dr. Moses Aransiola and his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Funmi Aransiola on their 70/70 birthday celebration and 50 years in Ministry.
The occasion, themed “A New Dawn,” will mark the couple’s joint 70th birthdays and Rev. Aransiola’s 50 years in ministry—collectively dubbed the “70/70/50 Celebration.” This four-day event will be hosted at various prestigious venues across Ibadan.
Day 1:Seven Hours Praise
The celebration kicks off with a Seven-Hour Praise Concert on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gethsemane Prayer World Prayer Centre, Eleyele, Ibadan. The session will feature top gospel artistes including Evangelist (Dr) Bola Are, Evangelist Toun Soetan, Evangelist Lilian Nneji, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, and Pastor Shola Oladoyinbo.
Others scheduled to minister in music include Pastor Bukky Owoseni, Pastor Oluwole Livingstone, and The Tribe of Judah Choir. The guest minister is Pastor Leke Sanusi.
Day 2 is Public Lecture and Banquet: On Friday, June 27, 2025, a public lecture will be held at the University of Ibadan International Conference Centre from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Chairman of the occasion is General (Dr) Yakubu Gowon (GCFR), former Head of State of Nigeria, Guest Speaker: Professor Mike Ozekhome (SAN)
Notable dignitaries expected include: Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde (FNSE), Legal luminary, Chief Afe Babalola, Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji and wife, Dr. (Mrs) Olayemi Oyebanji, Wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Professor Kayode Adebowale, Revd. Dr. Sam Aboyeji and Revd. Dr. Babatunde Olowodola
Following the lecture, a grand banquet will be held under the chairmanship of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye (Orumogege III), the Soun of Ogbomoso.
Day 3: Foundation Inauguration and Security Awards Luncheon will be held simultaneously. Saturday, June 28, 2025, will feature the official inauguration of the MOLAYO Foundation and Empowerment at Gethsemane World Prayer Centre, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Chairperson is Elder (Mrs) Biodun Obakin (CEO, Biobak Kitchens), Guest Speaker is Pastor Kayode Pitan.
Special Guests of Honour include: Oyo State CAN Chairman, PFN Chairmen of Ibadan Local Government Areas in Ibadan, Deacon Adesola Odeku (Schon Peesol Energy) and Engr. Akeredolu Martins (Solar Worldwide)
Later that day, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Police and Security Officers Award Luncheon will honour distinguished officers and service members.
Chairman is Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Johnson Adenola. Other expected guests include AIG Mike Okuo (Rtd), former Oyo State Police Commissioners, DSS Directors, and representatives from the FRSC, Civil Defence, NDLEA, and EFCC.
Day 4: Grand Finale and Thanksgiving
The celebration will climax on Sunday, June 29, 2025, being Day 4, the Grand Finale and Thanksgiving Service. The occasion will hold at Gethsemane World Prayer Centre, featuring Apostolic Father and Mother of the Christian faith, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye as special guests.
The Guest Speaker is Archbishop Benjamin Kwashi, Bishop of Jos Anglican Diocese while the Guest Music Minister is Pastor Nathaniel Bassey.
Speaking about the upcoming celebration, Pastor Adebayo Owoseni, Resident Pastor of Chapel of Life of the Ministry, described the event as a moment of deep reflection and celebration of God’s faithfulness in the lives of Rev. (Dr) and Pastor (Mrs) Aransiola.
He noted that meticulous planning is underway to ensure a memorable and impactful celebration, just as he called on members, pastors, and the planning committee for prayers and active cooperation.
