A Prominent Politician Who Lived A Distinguished Life – KKD Mourns Pa Lakondoro, Ex 3SC Chairman
A grassroots politician and senatorial candidate in the 2023 general elections in Oyo state, Chief Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi has commiserated with the family of a prominent political leader in Ibarapa land, Pa Samson Olayiwola Lakondoro who passed on Wednesday.
In a statement made available to newsarena.ng, Kolapo Kola-Daisi described Pa Samson Olayiwola Lakondoro as a man whose influence on his mentees and followers remained remarkable.
The statement reads in part “I am saddened to hear about the passing of Pa Samson Olayiwola Lakondoro, a prominent political mentor and father who lived a long and distinguished life.’
“In my time knowing Baba, it was always enriching to draw from his well of wisdom and insight. His influence on his mentees and followers will remain remarkable, and his absence will be deeply felt”.
“As we mourn his passing, I urge that we also celebrate and honor Pa Lakondoro’s contributions to the betterment of his community and this state, particularly his beloved constituency of sports development, where he oversaw affairs at Shooting Stars FC as a former chairman.”
“My thoughts are with Baba’s immediate family at this difficult time, and I hope that we all take comfort in knowing how much he was loved and respected by many.”
