Ahead of the 2022 World Lifting Conference starting on the 12th December, 2022, presiding Pastor Femi Emmanuel has advised federal government to reappraise the 2014 National Confab agreement with a view to rework the nations constitution.
Pastor Femi Emmanuel gave the advise at a news briefing heralding the conference which is expected to feature Word, worship and worshop.
Pastor Femi Emmanuel who is also the National Director of Politics and Governance, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) said the move became necessary to address injustice, inequity, unfairness, and other yearnings of Nigerians from different quarters.
He said there was the need for the country to restructure and operate presidential system of government where each region is self governed, have it’s own constitution, security system as well as develop their own resources.
The cleric believed that such system of government would put a stop to agitations from various ethnic groups wanting to claim turn in becoming Nigeria’s president.
Pastor Femi Emmanuel, a former deputy speaker of the Oyo state house of assembly also challenged Christians and youths to get involved in grassroots politics, noting that the power of Nigerian politics is in the ward levels and not the voting centres
He said until good Nigerians get involved in the selection process, incredible candidates would continue to emerge for various elective positions in Nigeria.
Speaking on the conference, Pastor Femi Emmanuel said pastor JT Kalejaiye of the Redeemed Christain church of God, renown gospel Singer, Bidemi Olaoba and other anointed Men of God will minister at the programme.
“This year’s conference will address different areas of life broken into syndicate sessions, free shopping, free medical outreach, love feast, ministers conference among others. It promises to be a blissful and creative experience in the presence of God.”
