2027: APM Appoints Western Mirror Publisher as Media Consultant for Oluyole Federal Constituency
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has appointed the Publisher of Western Mirror News, Mr Henry Odeh, as its Media Consultant for the 2027 general elections in Oluyole Federal Constituency of Oyo State.
The APM House of Representatives candidate and executive chairman of the council, Engr. Akeem Olatunji made the announcement on Tuesday at a strategic party stakeholders meeting held at the LG Multipurpose Hall, New Garage, Ibadan.
Bashorun Abiodun Adeniji was also appointed as the Director of Strategic Communications, while Mr Qudus Omoola was named Director of New Media.
The media directorate will also comprise Habeeb Onihantu, Hon. Jelili Adeleke and Abiola Ajumobi as Directors of Media II, III and IV, respectively, while Odeh will provide media consultancy services to the campaign organisation.
The party also unveiled a comprehensive Door-to-Door Campaign Council, comprising political leaders, grassroots mobilisers, youth and women representatives, media practitioners and other stakeholders, as part of efforts to strengthen its grassroots mobilisation and electoral campaign ahead of the 2027 elections.
In his remarks, Olatunji said the establishment of the campaign council and ward campaign structures reflect the APM’s intention to build an extensive grassroots network in Oluyole ahead of the 2027 general elections for a landslide victory.
“With the door-to-door strategy, the party is expected to take its campaign directly to households, communities, markets, religious institutions and other public spaces, while strengthening communication between its leadership and the electorate.
“The appointment of Odeh, a seasoned media practitioner, public affairs analyst and Publisher of Western Mirror News, is also expected to strengthen the campaign’s media relations, publicity, strategic communications and engagement with traditional and digital media platforms as the party intensifies preparations for the elections.
“This is what you call a winning team and with the caliber of individuals assembled for the prosecution of APM campaign project in Oluyole federal constituency, opposition stands no chance at the polls.
