The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of the newly appointed Director-General of Youth Mobilisation for the 2027 Governorship and Presidential Elections of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, to deliver on the mandate entrusted to him.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin stated this on Tuesday when Hon. Bolarinwa paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker at his office in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan, following his appointment as the APM Director-General for Youth Mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Speaker congratulated Hon. Bolarinwa on his appointment, describing his emergence as a fitting choice given his experience, understanding of youth issues and demonstrated capacity in political and grassroots mobilisation.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin said Hon. Bolarinwa who previously served as Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Youth and Sports is a “round peg in a round hole,”.
He expressed optimism that his experience and youthful energy would contribute significantly to the mobilisation of young people and other critical stakeholders for the APM ahead of the 2027 governorship and presidential elections.
The Speaker, while acknowledging the enormous responsibility attached to the new position, said he had no doubt that Hon. Bolarinwa would justify the confidence reposed in him by the leadership of the party.
He pledged his support and cooperation to the Director-General, assuring him that he would work with him to ensure the success of the mobilisation assignment.
The Speaker further wished the APM Youth Mobilisation Director-General success in his new assignment.
