2027: Oyo South APM Candidate, ‘Odidiomo’ Rolls Out Campaign Vehicles, Set For Grassroots Mobilization
Oyo south senatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, has rolled out a fleet of 20 branded mobile public awareneness vehicles as part of a comprehensive grassroots awareness and public enlightenment campaign across the nine local government areas of Oyo south senatorial district.
The initiative, which officially commenced at the weekend, is designed to boost public engagement, increase voter awareness and communicate the lawmaker’s vision for effective representation ahead of the 2027 general election.
The mobile public awarness vehicles, strategically branded and equipped with public address systems, are expected to traverse major roads, markets, communities, towns and villages across the senatorial district, taking the Odidiomo for senate awareness message directly to the grassroots.
Speaking on the development, Olajide said the campaign is not merely about seeking electoral support but about creating opportunities for meaningful interaction with constituents and presenting practical solutions to the developmental challenges confronting the district.
According to him, every community deserves to hear firsthand his plans for quality representation, inclusive development and legislative intervention.
“Our vision is focused on community development. We are taking our message directly to the people because democracy thrives when leaders remain accessible, accountable and connected to those they seek to represent,” he said.
The federal lawmaker who currently repents Ibadan North-west/Ibadan South-west federal constituency of Oyo state in the House of Representatives, explained that the mobile awareness initiative would cover all the nine local government areas of Oyo south senatorial district, ensuring that residents in both urban and rural communities are adequately reached.
He noted that the initiative would also provide a platform to educate residents on the importance of active political participation, peaceful elections and informed voting.
Olajide stated that his aspiration is premised on a clear agenda centred on youth empowerment, digital innovation, quality education, infrastructure development, economic inclusion, agricultural support, improved healthcare delivery and expanded employment opportunities.
He added that the mobile enlightenment drive would highlight his legislative achievements in the House of Representatives, particularly in the areas of education, digital inclusion, human capital development, constituency projects and youth empowerment interventions.
As chairman of the House Committee on Digital, Information Communication Technology and Cybersecurity, Olajide said technology and innovation would remain central to his development agenda for Oyo south senatorial district.
Party leaders and supporters who witnessed the rollout of the campaign vehicles described the initiative as a demonstration of Olajide’s grassroots approach to politics and his determination to maintain close contact with constituents across the district.
They expressed confidence that the extensive awareness campaign would further reinforce the party’s presence and broaden public support across the nooks and crannies of Oyo south senatorial district ahead of the 2027 general election.
