The Aare Musulumi of Ogbomoso Land, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Owodunni is dead
Alhaji Abdulganiyu was the 2nd Aare Muslim of Ogbomoso turbaned by the late Soun, Oba Jimoh Ajagungbade 3.
He was the son of the Ogbomoso business tachoon and philanthropist Baba Owodun of Owodun conglomerates.
He was until his death a leading member of Muslim Affairs Community and forefront in making of Ogbomoso Muslim become one.
A statement by a member of Ogbomoso Muslim Justice Forum, Alhaji Fatai Adewuyi described his death as a colossal lost to the community as he died an honourable and devotee Muslim.
According to the statement, his body shall be brought from Lagos to Ogbomoso for burial today June 14, 2026 between 2pm and 4pm at his residence Oke Afin, LAUTECH area
Alhaji Owodunni who died around midday on Saturday is survived by wives, children,grand children, great grand children, family, and friends.
