50th Birthday: APC Guber Candidate, Alli Describes ex-Oyo NUJ chair, Babalola As “An Accomplished Journalist”
Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has felicitated former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, Chief Ademola Babalola, on his 50th birthday.
Alli described Babalola as an accomplished journalist, administrator and passionate advocate of professional excellence, whose contributions to the development of journalism and the NUJ in Oyo State remained worthy of commendation.
The APC candidate said attaining the age of 50 was not merely a celebration of years, but an opportunity to appreciate a life of service, sacrifice, resilience and impact, describing Babalola’s journey as inspiring.
According to Alli, Babalola’s tenure as NUJ chairman demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of journalists and the advancement of the profession, noting that his leadership left enduring footprints in the council.
