An aspirant for the Oyo South Senatorial district under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi has urged all citizens to continue to uphold the values of tolerance, kindness, peaceful coexistence, and mutual support which Eid el Kabir represents.
This is contained in a statement he personally signed in Ibadan.
The statement reads in part:
“As we celebrate this blessed season of Eid-el-Kabir, may Allah (SWT) accept our sacrifices, answer our prayers, and fill our homes, communities, and our dear nation with peace, mercy, and abundant blessings.
“May this sacred occasion strengthen the bonds of love, unity, and compassion among us all.
“Let us continue to pray for our communities, our leaders, and our security agencies, while also playing our own part in promoting peace, vigilance, and harmony in our society.
“At this critical time in our nation’s journey, I offer prayers to grant Nigeria lasting peace, wisdom for our leaders, protection for every family, and assured hope for a better tomorrow.
“Together, through collective responsibility, we will continue to complement government efforts in securing lives and building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous nation for all.
