OYOWMA Chairman, Hon. Adeniyi Akanbi ‘Biro’, Felicitates Christians on Easter, Appreciates Gov. Makinde’s Support
The Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Authority (OYOWMA), Hon. Adeniyi Akanbi, popularly known as “Biro,” has extended warm greetings to Christians across Oyo State on the occasion of Easter.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists in Ibadan, Akanbi described Easter as a season that symbolizes sacrifice, hope, and renewal, urging Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly love, humility, and selfless service.

He called on residents of the state to embrace peaceful coexistence and continue to promote unity and harmony, especially during the festive period.

Akanbi also used the opportunity to express his appreciation to the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for his unwavering support to the agency, noting that the government’s commitment has greatly enhanced effective waste management and environmental sustainability across the state.
According to him, the support from the Makinde-led administration has enabled OYOWMA to improve its operations, ensuring cleaner surroundings and better service delivery to residents.
“As we celebrate Easter, I urge all residents to maintain a clean environment and support the efforts of the agency by adhering to proper waste disposal practices. Together, we can build a healthier and more sustainable Oyo State,” he stated.
The OYOWMA chairman further reassured residents of the agency’s readiness to ensure efficient waste collection and environmental sanitation throughout the festive period.
He concluded by wishing Christians a joyous and peaceful Easter celebration, filled with blessings, renewed hope, and prosperity.
