The Osun State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has sealed off a home for children with disabilities, located at Ota Efun, Osogbo, due to poor facilities.
Speaking at the location of the seal-off, the State Commandant NSCDC, Commandant Igbalawole Sotiyo said the command embarked on the seal-off, following a tip-off from the public.

Commandant Sotiyo who was represented by the Deputy Commandant of Corps, Abeere Oluwafemi explained that the children found in the house were malnourished and the operatives discovered the home lacked registration with relevant authorities.

The Osun NSCDC Boss who noted that investigation revealed that the children’s parents have abandoned them with the caregiver, explained that the Osun State Bureau for Persons With Disabilities had been informed for necessary action.
He cautioned parents and guardians to carefully vet care facilities to ensure the proper care for the Children.
