The Polytechnic, Ibadan Releases 1st Semester Academic Calendar • Urges Students To Key Into NELFUND Loan Scheme
The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has released the first semester 2024/2025 academic calendar with fresh students resuming today Monday, 14th October, 2024.
A statement from the Institution signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Soladoye Adewole on behalf of the Acting Registrar, Mr Joseph Ogunjimi disclosed that returning students are to resume on Sunday, 20th of October.
According to the statement, a five-day orientation programme for fresh students will hold from Monday, 14th October to Friday, 18th October, while registration for all students will hold from Monday, 14th October to Friday, 1st November.
The statement further stated that a grace of one week from Saturday, 2nd November to Friday, 8th November will be allowed for late registration, which will attract penalty.
It noted that lectures will commence from Monday, 4th November 2024 to Friday, 7th February 2025, explaining that the first semester examination will commence on Monday, 17th February, and end on Saturday, 8th March 2025.
It however advised the students to key into the loan scheme for students in tertiary institutions under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
