Reps’ Member, “Odidiomo” Emphasizes Digital Quality Assurance At Nigeria’s Premier Software Testing Conference

Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Digital, Information Communication Technology and Cybersecurity, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, has emphasized the need for quality assurance in Nigeria’s digital landscape.

Speaking at the 3rd edition of the Nigeria premier software testing conference, Test Nigeria 3.0, organized by the Nigerian Software Testing Qualification Board (NGSTQB), Olajide stressed that ensuring the security of the country’s digital frontier requires robust quality assurance mechanisms.

Held at Radisson hotel, Lagos, the NGSTQB TestNigeria 3.0 conference provided a platform for stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

The conference themed “Security in the spotlight: Safeguarding digital frontier through quality assurance” brought together industry experts in the software testing and cybersecurity community.

Hon. Adedeji Olajide, who delivered the keynote address, noted that as Nigeria continues to leverage technology to drive economic growth and development, it is crucial to prioritize the security and integrity of its digital infrastructure.

He tasked stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector operators and individuals, to work collaboratively to ensure that Nigeria’s digital space remains secure and reliable.

“We must recognize the critical role quality assurance plays in safeguarding our digital frontier. It is imperative that we prioritize investment in robust testing and validation protocols to protect our digital assets,” Olajide said.

The conference featured presentations and panel discussions on various topics, including software testing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
