Recruitment: Over 10,000 Applicants Sitting For Oyo SUBEB CBT Each Day – Chairman
Chairman, Oyo state Universal Basic Education, SUBEB, Dr Nureni Adeniran has explained that over ten thousand candidates are to sit for the ongoing recruitment CBT test for teachers for each day.
Dr. Adeniran made this known while speaking with Radio Nigeria correspondent who monitored the exercise at the University of Ibadan distance learning centre, on the first day of the CBT test
He said over 50 000 applicants were scheduled to sit for the test, which commenced on Monday 22nd July 2024 and expected to end on Friday this week.
Dr. Adeniran who also gave update on his X account @oyosubeb_chair posted “Good morning, dear friends, I am at the CBT centre with my team. So far, the process is seamless, and candidates are so pleasant, with an immense sense of responsibility.
“Again, I wish them all the best in the ongoing CBT examinations.”
It was however gathered that candidates queued to be cleared by officials before being allowed into the hall for the test.
Some of the candidates who spoke with newsmen appreciated Oyo State government for the effort.
They appealed to the board to establish CBT centres in other zones where candidates can write the examination .
