Super Falcons of Nigeria were too hot for their Burundi counterpart as they ran out 4-0 winners at the Moulay Hassan Fus stadium at the ongoing Women’s African Cup of Nations, WAFCON in Morocco.
The Defending champions produced a stunning 4 minute magic in the first half, scoring in the 25th, 28th and 29th minutes to cap their dominance in the game.
Rasheedat Ajibade, who has been in fine form so far in the tournament, opened the scoring when she calmly converted her spot kick, before Peace Efih and Uchenna Kanu joined the scoring chart.
Uchenna Kanu scored her 2nd goal of the game to make it 4 nil as the Super Falcons recorded their second win in Group C.
With the result, Nigeria has booked their place in the quarter finals of the 2022 WAFCON, finishing second in Group C, behind the Bayana Bayana of South Africa.
