The All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has announced Borno state governor Senator Kashim Shetima as his running mate for the 2023 general elections.
Tinubu made the announcement on Sunday in Daura, the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State.
The two term governor of Lagos State while briefing newsmen after a closed door meeting the president, explained the reason for the choice of Kashim Shettima.
He said Shettima was selected based on his antecedent, capability and ability to serve.
