Tribunal Verdict: Providence Coalition President, Prince Adeyoju Congratulates Oyo South Senator, Alli

President, providence Coalition, a socio-political group in Oyo, Prince Niran Adeyoju has congratulated Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli on his victory at the election petition tribunal on Wednesday

Recall that The National Election Petition Tribunal, sitting at Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, upheld the election of Senator Sharafadeen Alli of All Progressives Congress (APC), as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The panel delivered the judgment on Wednesday when it dismissed the petition filed by the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the district, Chief Joseph Tegbe, who challenged the February 25, 2023 victory of Alli, at the tribunal.

Prince Niran Adeyoju in a statement personally signed and made available to journalists by the coalition publicity secretary, Comrade David Oluokun said he was not surprised with the outcome of the Tribunal considering the massive supports sen. Alli garnered from the people during the 2023 election.

The coalition president who described sen. Alli as a grassroots politician noted that the outcome of the judgement was a testimony of people’s mandate given to the APC Chieftain and a son of the soil.

Prince Adeyoju however commended the judiciary for doing thorough study of all evidence provided and called on the candidates that lost at the court to join hands with Sen. Alli in his quest to make Oyo South, Oyo state and Nigeria a better place for all.

While congratulating barrister Alli, who is one of the leaders of the coalition, for recording another feat, Prince Adeyoju urged him to continue to make more positive impact in his constituency
