A fatal car crash has claimed three lives on Lagos Ibadan Expressway, around Petrol Station, on Friday 30th June, 2023 at 7 O’Clock.
According to a statement Signed by the Public Education Officer, FRSC, Ogun State command, Florence Okpe, on behalf of the Sector Commander, the accident involved 02 vehicles with registration numbers BDG 426HT TOYOTA SIENNA and a DAF TRUCK RNG558XC.
Okpe said “A total of 07 persons were involved which comprised of 04 male adults, 02 female adults and 01 child.
“One person was injured while three were recorded dead from the crash”.
“The suspected cause of the fatal crash was excessive speed, on the part of the sienna driver who rammed into the DAF TRUCK that was coming out of the trailer park”
“The injured victim was taken to Isaara general Hospital for medical attention while the corpses were deposited at FOS MORGUE IPARA”
“The operatives are still on ground managing the traffic situation.”
The Sector Commander caution motorists against excessive speed and advised to use common sense speed limit.
