59th Birthday: Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin Celebrates EAUED Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olaniyan
The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has extended warm felicitations to the Vice-Chancellor of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo, Professor Olanrewaju Ademola Olaniyan, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin described Professor Olaniyan as an accomplished scholar, visionary administrator and distinguished economist whose exemplary leadership has continued to reposition Emmanuel Alayande University of Education as a centre of excellence in teacher education, research and innovation.
The Speaker commended the Vice-Chancellor’s remarkable contributions to academia over the years, particularly his outstanding career as a professor of Economics and former lecturer at the University of Ibadan before his appointment as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly upgraded Emmanuel Alayande University of Education in 2023.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin noted that Professor Olaniyan has demonstrated exceptional commitment to institutional development, academic excellence and capacity building, adding that his wealth of experience has brought renewed direction and stability to the university within a relatively short period.
He further lauded the celebrant’s dedication to mentoring young academics and students, as well as his passion for advancing quality education, describing him as a worthy ambassador of Oyo State whose achievements continue to inspire the younger generation.
“On behalf of the Oyo State House of Assembly, I heartily congratulate Professor Olanrewaju Ademola Olaniyan on the milestone of his 59th birthday. Your commitment to scholarship, excellence and educational development remains commendable.
