2027: ZLP Senatorial, Reps’ Candidates Form United Front

As the countdown to the 2027 general elections begins to reshape the political landscape, the Oyo State chapter of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) has made a major strategic move.

In a bid to challenge the dominance of the major ruling parties, the ZLP’s Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates across the state have formally resolved to form a united front.

The decision was finalized during a high-stakes stakeholders’ and reconciliation meeting held in Ibadan, the state capital.

The gathering brought together former candidates, party executives, and grassroots mobilizers to map out an aggressive blueprint aimed at capturing legislative seats in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking with journalists, the candidates, including, Oyo Central senatorial candidate, IBILOLA Daramola Oluwafunke, Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon.oladimeji Oluwaseun Theophilus, and Oyo North Senatorial District, Hon. Ojo James emphasized that the division and fragmented strategies of the past would have no place in the upcoming political cycle.
