It was a moment of celebration for APC faithful in Ibadan North as Honourable Adebowale Steve Adeyoju, popularly known as STEVO, was officially presented with hhs Certificate of Return to contest and represent the good people of Ibadan North Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly in the 2027 election.
The presentation was done by the *Oyo State APC Chairman, Otunba Alake Adeyemo, at the party secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, in the presence of state executive members, candidates, and party leaders.
A Vote of Confidence from APC Leadership
Handing over the certificate, Otunba Alake Adeyemo described STEVO as a loyal party man and grassroots politician who has paid his dues in the progressive fold.
“This certificate is not just a paper. It is the trust of our great party and the people of Ibadan North Constituency II that you will go there and represent them well. APC is counting on you to bring back the seat and deliver quality representation,”_ the Chairman said.
He urged all party members to rally behind STEVO and other candidates to ensure APC reclaims power in Oyo State in 2027.
The event had in attendance top party chieftains and stakeholders, including:

– Alhaji Teslim Aderibigbe, OMILABU GANDI
– Hon. Peju Esan
– *Alhaja Tinu Adigun*
– Elder David Oluokun
– DG Stevo campaign council Wasiu Sanusi
– – Other state executives, candidates , and party leaders from Ibadan North and across the state.
The large turnout was seen as a sign of unity within the party ahead of 2027.
In his acceptance remarks, *Hon. Adebowale Steve Adeyoju (STEVO)* thanked the party leadership and members for the confidence reposed in him.
_I dedicate this certificate to the good people of Ibadan North Constituency II. This is about you. By God’s grace, I will be your voice, I will attract development, and I will ensure our constituency gets its fair share,”_ he said.
He promised to run an all-inclusive representation focused on youth empowerment, education, health, and community development.
With the Certificate of Return now in hand, STEVO becomes APC’s official flag bearer for Ibadan North Constituency II. Party leaders say the target is to win back the seat and increase APC’s presence in the Oyo Assembly come 2027.
The mood at the event was one of optimism, with chants of _”STEVO! STEVO!”_ as party members pledged to work for victory.
