Executive Chairman, Akinyele Local Government, Honourable Akinwole Akinleye has assured the people of the local government and Oyo State at large that the new year will be a rewarding and prosperous at the grassroot level.
He said this in his new year message reminiscing on the past year of challenges.
According to him the high expectations of citizens were dashed due to unforseen circumstances in the country.
The council chairman urged the people to be optimistic saying this new year “with your support more achievement will be actualized.”
Hon. Akinwole thanked His Excellency, Engr.Seyi Makinde, for his vision and his kind of pragmatic leadership in piloting the Pacesetter State.
Hon Akinwole Akinleye wished everyone both home and in the diaspora, political stalwarts, career officers, and all partners, friends of local government, a happy and prosperous new year .
