Workers’ Day: Alli, Peller Hail Workers’ Dedication, Seeks Improved Conditions

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has extended felicitations to the hardworking and dedicated workers across the state as they commemorate Workers’ Day in the year 2024.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Alli expressed sincere appreciation for the invaluable contributions of workers to the growth and development of the state.

“On this auspicious occasion of Workers’ Day, I commend the selfless dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of workers in the state.

“I acknowledge your pivotal role in driving progress and sustaining the fabric of our society.

Senator Alli urged them to persevere and uphold diligence in discharging their duties with unwavering commitment as well as dedication.

Recognising the challenges and uncertainties that workers often face in the course of their responsibilities, Senator Alli encouraged them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence, resilience, and professionalism.

He reiterated his dedication to championing the interests of workers, advocating for improved working conditions, fair compensation, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Similarly, former member of the House of Representatives, Honourabe Shina Peller, advocated for fair labour practices, improved working conditions, enhanced opportunities for professional growth and development for workers across the country.

Honourabe Peller made the call on Wednesday in his goodwill message to Nigerian workers on the occasion of International Workers’ Day 2024.

Also, the former federal lawmaker, who is the Ayedero of Yorubaland, recognized workers’ immense contributions to the growth and prosperity of every nation, as well as their dedication and commitment to enhancing socio-economic activities of the society.
