The University of Ibadan (UI) Senate has given the go-ahead for academic activities to start up again on Monday.
This was said in a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan by Mrs. Olubunmi Faluyi, the institution’s registrar and secretary to council.
She claims that the institution’s Senate chose Monday, October 24, 2022, as the start date for the continuation of the 2021–2022 academic session during a special meeting on October 17, 2022.
“As a result, starting on October 23, 2022, residence halls would be open.
“On behalf of the Council and Senate of the University, we wish our students journey mercies as they return to the campus,” Faluyi said.
