Three Clerics Feared Dead In Ekiti Ghastly Auto Crash

Three clergymen from Anglican church, Ekiti Oke Diocese have reportedly lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident along Otun (DD)–Iro Ekiti road in Moba council Area of Ekiti State

Journalists who visited the scene gathered that the deceased Clerics were travelling from Ipere (DMM) Ekiti to Iro (DM) Ekiti when their bus somersauted and they died on the spot.

According to report five other clerics who sustained injuries were receiving treatment at the Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti, while corpses of the three late clergymen were also deposited in the morgue.

Eye witnesses also told journalists that one of the deceased Clerics, Reverend Felix Okeowo was transferred from Saint Peters’ Anglican church Ipere Ekiti to an Anglican church in Iro Ekiti when they involved in a lone accident on their way to Iro Ekiti for his welcome service.

Sympathizers at the secne wept uncontrollably over the sudden death of the three Clerics.

The two other late Clerics are, Reverend Arije of Saint James’ Anglican church, Eda Oniyo Ekiti and Reverend Omotoso of Saint Mary’s Anglican church, Ewu Ekiti.

A relative of the late Reverend Okeowo, Mrs Cecilia was said to have also died in the crash.
