Super Eagles new Coach, Jose Peseiro may actually be working illegally in Nigeria.
This came to the fore as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tweeted yesterday that Jose Peseiro was working in the country without a valid document.
In the tweet, the Foreign Affairs ministry frowned at the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, for allowing the Super Eagles Coach to begin his new role in Nigeria without a work permit.
Peseiro had already taken charge of two games as head coach of the Super Eagles; 2-1 loss to Mexico and 1-0 defeat to Ecuador in a friendly in the US.
Super Eagles will tomorrow, 9th June, 2022 begin their bid to qualify for the 2023 Africa cup of Nations tournament when they take on Sierra Leone at the MKO stadium, Abuja.
