St. Peter’s Primary School, Apete, Ibadan, has honoured the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, with a trophy in recognition of his commitment to the development of education, pupils’ welfare, and extracurricular activities within the local government.
The award was presented at the Ido Local Government Secretariat by the Chairman of the School’s Sports Planning Committee, Mr. Akinrinade A.A., following the successful Inter-House Sports Competition held on July 30, 2026.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Akinrinade A.A. described the award as a gesture of appreciation for the chairman’s demonstrated interest in the education sector and his encouragement of initiatives that positively impact pupils.
The Inter-House Sports Competition provided pupils with an opportunity to showcase their sporting talents, teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit. The event also reinforced the importance of sports as an integral part of primary education and child development.
