Six Year Anniversary: Ibarapa Vice Chairmen Extol Governor Makinde’s Leadership.

The Vice Chairmen of the three local government areas in Ibarapa zone, Oyo State, have jointly extolled Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership as he clocked six-years in office and commended his developmental strides across the region.

In a unified statement, the Vice Chairmen—Hon. Rasheed Babarinde (Ibarapa Central), Hon. Bisi Akande (Ibarapa North), and Hon. Jacob Olakunle Olalowo (Ibarapa East)—expressed their gratitude for the governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of Ibarapa residents.

They highlighted significant infrastructural projects, enhanced security measures, and improved healthcare facilities as part of the key areas where the governor’s administration has made impacts.

The Vice Chairmen also acknowledged the governor’s prompt approval of various projects, such as the rehabilitation of the Ipin River along the Old Eruwa-Ibadan road; Ongoing Renovation of Eleruwa palace and ongoing developments at the Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate and Ibarapa land generally.

They emphasized that these initiatives have not only improved the region’s infrastructure but have also created job opportunities and fostered economic growth.

Furthermore, they commended Governor Makinde’s efforts in restoring peace to Ibarapa region, particularly following the security challenges faced in 2021.

The Vice Chairmen noted that the governor’s swift response and establishment of the Peace and Security Committee have significantly contributed to the current tranquility enjoyed by the people.
