Two persons were on Saturday feared dead, while another was seriously injured at Apata area of Ibadan as a peaceful protest by some Youths in the area turned bloody.
Our reporter who was at the scene of the incident gathered that the youths were protesting the scarcity of fuel and unavailability of new Naira notes.
An eye witness who did not want his name mentioned said the protest assumed a chaotic dimension when security agents who surfaced at the scene fired gun shots to disperse the protesters and the bullets in the process allegedly hit three persons.
According to the eye witness, the two of the victims were feared dead on the spot, while the third person who was earlier rejected by two private hospitals was later rushed to the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
At the time of filling this report, normalcy had returned to the area as Army officers, Civil Defence Corps, Policemen and Road Safety Corps were on ground to curb further breach of the law and order.

Meanwhile, Oyo state police command confirmed the death of a member of vigilante group as a result of the crises saying his corpse has been deposited at a state hospital for post mortem.
