Property worth millions of naira at the Akinyele Local Government Building, Moniya, Ibadan have been destroyed by midnight fire on Thursday.
Residents around the area claimed the fire started at about 12:30 midnight affecting the office of the local government chairman and other important places.
Meanwhile, sources who spoke with newsarena.ng said the Chairman’s office was completely destroyed by the fire.
As at the time of this report, newsarena.ng gathered that the fire has been put off but roofs and windows were completely damaged.
