Management, staffers and well wishers of the National Orientation Agency, Oyo state on Thursday rolled out the drums to celebrate this year’s Christmas carol with pomp and ceremony.
The event held at the agency’s state headquarters, Agodi featured song rendition, nine lesson and song, award ceremony, prayer for the nation and the NOA.
In a short sermon, Guest Preacher on the occasion, Pastor Ademola Ojo urged Christians have been to also make use of the energy involved in their preparations for the Christmas season to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ojo said many Christians were too occupied with preparations for the yuletide with little or no preparation for eternity.
The Cleric reminded the gathering that everything achieved on earth would be a waste if the second coming of Jesus Christ did not meet them spiritually prepared.
Earlier in a remark, Oyo State Director, NOA, Mr Kayode Odedokun said the Christmas season should be used to impact lives positively and not just for merry making.
The Chairman of the 2022 Christmas Carol committee, Mr Olusola Sanda called on Nigerians not to lose hope, but continue to trust God for a better country in the nearest future.
The service featured rendition of Carol songs and prayers for Nigeria, Oyo State and the 2023 General Elections.
