OYSCATECH Congratulates Makinde, Expresses Confidence In His 2nd Term Exceptional Development In Tertiary Institutions

The Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora have congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his re-election as the Executive Governor of Oyo State in the just concluded governorship election.

While conveying the institution’s congratulatory messages, the Governing Council Chairman, Prof. Lateef Sanni and the Rector, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi described the Governor’s re-election as a reciprocity of the Governor’s commitment to the development of the State and the welfare of civil and public servants in the State.

In a release signed by the institution Registrar, Mr. Rasheed Fasasi Adenrele Adeniji, the Governor’s victory at the polls was not unconnected with efforts at ameliorating the sufferings of the people in the state in which tertiary institutions were not left out.

According to the duo, ” we are convinced that the Governor’s second term will provide exceptional development that would transform tertiary institutions in the State as second to none among the comity of institutions in the country.

Prof. Sanni called on the Governor not to renege on his developmental programmes for the State but resolve to double performance in the delivery of good works to all constituents in the State.

The Governing Council Chairman and Rector, therefore, prayed God to grant the Governor good health, greater wisdom and strength in the discharge of his responsibilities to the State and the people in general, while praying God to grant Oyo State rapid development during the second dispensation.
