The Coordinator for the All Progressives Congress APC Presidential Campaign Council in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin has given assurance that the council would deliver at least Two million of the 3.3 million votes available in the state to the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima in the February 25 election.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the Central Media Council for the Presidential Campaign Council in Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, Senator Folarin gave the assurance at a parley with journalists in Ibadan yesterday.
Senator Folarin said the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima has been well embraced by the overwhelming majority of people in the 33 local government areas of Oyo state.
Senator Folarin who is also the gubernatorial candidate of APC in the state disclosed that his campaign activities, formal and informal meetings with various sets of people, community leaders, faith based leaders, traditional leaders, youths and students have all confirmed the profound popularity and acceptance the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shetttima is enjoying in Oyo State.
The three time Senator told the journalists that the party has put up a strong campaign council led by seasoned politicians and veteran political campaign managers in persons of Dr. Isiaka Kolawole and Asiwaju Yemi Aderibigbe as Director General and Deputy Director General that are working round the clock for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and all our candidates across the state.
He disclosed that the APC will hold its mega Presidential Rally next week Tuesday at Mapo, Ibadan.
Senator Folarin disclosed that the presidential candidate and his entourage would on arrival in Ibadan first pay homage to the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun at his palace and also visit some eminent leaders in the state.
The APC gubernatorial candidate added that the APC mega rally would be tasteful and groovy as he assured of maximum security and effective human and traffic control throughout the rally.
