Hon Akinwole however sympathizes with Oke Ogun traditional leaders and the immediate family of the late monarch
Wolekanle, as he is affectionately known, bemoaned the passing of the king, whom he characterized as a model parent who had a strong desire to improve iseyin, Oke Ogun, and the entire state of Oyo.
The young entrepreneur from Ogbomoso said he received the news of Baba’s death with a sharp shock and astonishment in a message of condolence to the Oke Ogun people
“Death is a necessary end for all mortal but loosing a genial and passionate king like Aseyin whose love for his subject and the state is unrivaled at this time is not just painful but a sad loss.”
“He would be remember as an ideal yoruba king whose reign ushered in rapid infrastructural growth, economic advancements as well as promotion of cultural values.”
Wolekanle asked God to pardon his sins and give him eternal life as he prayed for Aseyin’s soul to find rest.
