INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Oyo state Dr Adeniran Tella has expressed satisfaction on the level of performance of the commission’s technological device, BVAS And logistics during the ongoing governorship and house of assembly elections.
Dr Tella stated this while addressing journalists while monitoring situations within Ibadan in company of some service chiefs in Oyo state.
He said the functionality of the BVAS machines which was deployed by the commission under improved electoral process have worked perfectly without any hitch.
Dr Tella said accreditation and voting commenced as scheduled in the state, noting that the commission is poised to conducting free, fair and credible elections.
“We have not encountered any hitch, the functionality of the BVAS is on the perfect side, virtually everywhere we’ve gone through today, they succeeded in doing the accreditation and voting simultaneously” He said
Dr Tella gave assurance that before the end of the expiration of voting period, all eligible voters on queue would have exercised their franchise.

Some of the areas visited so far included Iwo road, Idi Ose in Ona Ara and some polling units in Ibadan Southeast Local government
