The Oyo State Government on Thursday released Phone lines for the quick evacuation of garbage within the State through its waste management consultant.
In a statement made in Ibadan, the state capital, the commissioner for information, culture, and tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, informed the populace that PSPs will respond to any issues as soon as possible.
The announcement quotes Mr. Adey Adewuyi, as saying that the number will develop a mechanism to provide prompt response to residents in need of quick garbage removal.
Adewuyi said the numbers to call for waste pick-up are 0700 080 0700 or WhatsApp 0818 190 0004.
The statement further assured residents that the present administration, led by Governor Seyi Makinde is putting in so much effort to improve waste management in the state, in a bid to harness job creation potentials and other environmental benefits.
