OSUN Guber Poll: Voters Turn Out, EFCC Presence – Situation Report In Parts Of Osun

Voting commenced in the Osun State governorship election at about 8:30 in the morning.

Before the commencement of the exercise, the Presiding officer addressed the voters on the Conduct of the exercise.

Report say, INEC officials did not allow party agents to stay close to the cubicle.

At Masifa Ile, Ejigbo local government, there were massive turn out of voters.

Also at Iwo, correspondent reports that though there was rain in some areas, the electorates were not discouraged to exercise their franchise.

Many of them were seen clustered under canopies

As at the time of this report, Senator Ademola Adeleke candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP cast his vote @ 8:50am while Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, and wife, Kafayat arrived at polling unit 2, ward 1A, LA Primary school, Polo Iragbiji to cast their votes

However, People with Disabilities, pregnant women, aged people, male and female were given priority in that order.

Meanwhile, Men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC are in Osun State to monitor the election.

A team EFCC personnel of about six men where sited at Unit 1, Ward 1 Olotin area of Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government.

However, leader of the team who did not want her name mentioned told newsmen that they were monitoring the exercise and no arrest has been made
