Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Southern senatorial district of Ondo state, Deaconess Funmilola Ademoyegun has resigned her membership of the party.
This was contained in a letter to the Party chairmen in Ileoluji/Okeigbo local government, Ondo South Senatorial district and at the state level.
Deaconess Ademoyegun was a former Special Assistant on health matters to former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
She said after due consultation with family members and political associates, she decided to resign her position and membership of the PDP because of the stress involved in the party.
According her, “I thank the chairman, the executives and members of the party for their cooperation throughout my working period in the party, I pray that we shall be relating in other areas apart from political engagements.”
