NNPP Southwest Leader, Olopoeyan Felicitates Muslims On Eid El Kabir, Urges Oyo Residents To Get PVC

A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP in the southwest, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan has appealed to Nigerians to be more involved in political process.

Olopoeniyan said the best way to get involved was to get their permanent voters card and vote during election

Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan made the appeal after observing Eld prayer at Agodi praying ground in Ibadan, alongside other prominent Nigerians.

While congratulating Muslim faithful across the state for witnessing another eid el kabir, Alhaji Olopoeniyan said the significance of Eid-el-Kabir revolves around the virtues of faith, trust, sacrifice.

” I congratulate the Muslim faithful, we thank Almighty Allah for giving us the privilege to witness this year Eid-el-Kabir, the significance of Eid-el-Kabir revolves around the virtues of faith, trust, sacrifice, and belief, I, therefore, urged the Muslim faithful to live peacefully with others.

“Moreover, I advise all residents to get their PVC ready for the next election, the Permanent Voter Card ( PVC), is the only power the electorate can use to vote for the credible candidates of their choices, ”The PVC is a very potent weapon to either vote in or vote out any candidates seeking to occupy any elective offices.

“Without an individual voter’s card, one would not be able to exercise his due constitutional responsibility of casting his or her vote in the nation’s electoral process.”

He reiterated the importance of the voter card, saying it could not be over-emphasized in the socio-economic development of the country, hence the need for “eligible voters to get registered”
