Makinde Appoints Board Members, Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa Governing Council

Eight people have been selected by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to the Governing Council of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, just days after a former Provost of the Tai Solarin College of Education, was named the institution’s Chairman of the Governing Council.

The nominations were made by the governor through separate letters that were signed by Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, Secretary to the State Government.

The positions are effective as of October 13, 2022.

The members were Mr. Johnson Oladele, Mrs. Alice Adedokun, Mr. Wazir Adekunle, Alhaji Azeem Badmus, Mr. Akanji Olayinka, Mr. Adebayo Kunle, Mr. J.O. Ogunyemi, and Mrs. S.O. Oladeni, according to a statement by Moses Alao, the governor’s special assistant (print media).

The statement quoted the Secretary to the State Government as congratulating the new governing council members, stating that their appointments were in accordance with the terms and conditions of the office and status as spelt out in the institution’s enabling laws.

“While heartily congratulating you on your appointment, which is a call to service, His Excellency, as well as the Government, expects that you will discharge your duties with absolute dedication and in line with the Government’s vision for the Polytechnic,” the letter read in part
