The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), on Thursday released the list and roles of ad-hoc staff across the polling units for the Saturday’s Local Government Election in the state.
This is contained in a statement by OYSIEC Chairman, Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, SAN and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
The chairman directed all applicants to check their names on (https://oysiec.org/2024-election-adhoc-list/) to see if applicants are shortlisted and that the roles to be played on the day of the election were included on the list.
The statement indicated that the public can monitor election proceedings on Saturday, 27 April, 2024 and also view results on the OYSIEC Election Result Viewing Portal ( election.oysiec.org).
“This is to notify the public officially that names of individuals who will work with the Commission as Ad- hoc staff in the forthcoming Local Government Councils Election are now available on our portal.”
“Those who applied should check their names on the above link if shortlisted and should prepare for his or her role in the forthcoming elections.”
“However, the public should call/whatsapp/sms the OYSIEC SITUATION ROOM for enquiry and complaints on +2348185786752 , 09058663416 , 08107313618.”
Aare Olagunju, however, enjoined the ad-hoc staff to be fear to all and discharge their duties in line with the electoral law.
