On Thursday morning, a fire explosion took place at the Con Oil fontage along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The incident included a bus and a tanker carrying fuel, according to a statement from Mrs. Florence Okpe, Public Education Officer for the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ogun State command.
According to Mrs. Okpe, rescue organizations including TRACE, FRSC, Ogun State Fire Service, POLICE, and NSCDC are currently on the spot controlling the situation to stop the tragic incident from getting worse.
She advised Motorists to make use of alternative Routes to avoid unnecessary delay.
The number of casualties is yet to be made known but eyewitnesses said at least three people may have been affected by the fire.
