Inauguration: CRPP Congratulates Edo Governor-Elect, Okpebholo
The national president, CRPP, Dr. Samson Isibor has congratulated Sen. Monday Okpebholo on the occassion of his inauguration as the elected executive governor of Edo state.
This is contained in a statement signed by him and the general secretary of the group Hon. Theophilus Okakpe in Benin.
Dr. Isibor also commended the outgoing deputy governor of the state, Philip Shuaibu for his courage and excellent performances while in office, describing the deputy governor as an humble and courageous personality.
The statement reads in part:
“I, Dr. Samson Isibor on behalf of myself the executive committee and members of CRPP rejoices with the distinguish Senator Monday Okpebholo on this august occasion of your inauguration as the elected executive governor of Edo state through your landslide victory at the governorship poles
“We give thanks to God for your life for witnessing this day of your swearing in as our brand new Governor.
“We join millions of your admirers to felicitate with you on this august occasion. We believe Edo people will benefit from your leadership quality as exemplified by your services to Edo Senatorial district as a Senator. We pray that God will give you the enablement to deliver your electioneering promises to the good people of Edo State.
“We also congratulate the outgoing Deputy Governor of Edo State Comrade Philip Shuaibu and we wish him God’s guidance and protection in his future endeavors we are proud to be associated with your courage and excellent performance as the Deputy Governor of Edo State. “We pray that God will continue to use you in any capacity for the development of Edo State and humanity in general.
“You have been a sterling example of humility, courage, perseverance and faithfulness to the services of your people, Thank God for finishing victoriously.
