Ido LG Chairman Inspects 6.5km Wire And Cable, Ita Faaji, All Saints College Road Project
The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, on Thursday conducted an inspection of the ongoing 6.5-kilometre Wire and Cable Road project, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure for the benefit of residents.
The inspection covered the project route from Wire and Cable, Ita Faaji, through Opopin, Olunde Junction, Oganla, All Saints College Road, and terminating at Akinju Close.
On arrival, the Chairman was warmly received by Baale Apena, Chief Lateef Adegoke, who presented a Letter of Appreciation in recognition of the Chairman’s commitment to community development and the execution of the road project.
During the visit, Baale Lasokun, Chief Mohammed Tijani Bello, also expressed appreciation to the Chairman for prioritizing the road project and acknowledged the positive impact it will have on the community.
Similarly, Mogaji Lasokun, Alhaji Muyideen Dada, thanked the Chairman for his dedication to improving infrastructure and enhancing the welfare of the people.
Following the goodwill messages, the Chairman proceeded with a detailed inspection of the road project, assessing the progress of work and interacting with relevant stakeholders to ensure that construction meets the expected standards and is completed within schedule.
Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his unwavering commitment to infrastructural development across the state. He noted that the Governor’s visionary leadership and continued support for grassroots development have created an enabling environment for local governments to embark on impactful projects that improve the lives of the people. The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to complementing the Governor’s developmental agenda by delivering quality projects that meet the needs of Ido Local Government residents.
The visit reflects the Ido Local Government’s continued commitment to providing durable infrastructure that improves connectivity, promotes economic activities, and enhances the quality of life for residents across the local government area.
